We were asked to build a purpose-driven omni platform for RITZ, unique to Canada. The insight we were looking for revealed itself in the brand’s tagline – “A Taste of Welcome.” Canada is the #1 most welcoming country for newcomers in the world, and prides itself on being a multicultural society since its founding. And since the dawn of time, humans have welcomed each other with food.

With more Newcomers arriving every year, RITZ set out to help people welcome new neighbours. We partnered with three Canadian influencers to reimagine family recipes as RITZ recipes, and gave away hundreds of grocery store gift cards to help Canadians buy new ingredients from new cultures to make welcoming new neighbours easier. The omnichannel program was rolled out nationally in English, French and Chinese––an industry first in Canada.
